As SVP, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory with AMS, a global talent management firm, Judy sets direction for the global DEI consulting business and supports clients’ DEI objectives by transforming their talent systems to deliver equitable, inclusive processes.
A strategist, innovator and facilitator, Judy has served as a trusted advisor to executives at some of the most successful global organizations, including Bristol Myers Squibb, Barclays, and Delta. Since joining AMS, Judy has led DEI diagnostics of end-to-end recruitment processes and developed solutions to build inclusivity, remove bias, and increase the attraction, selection, hiring, and development of underrepresented talent. She has also designed and delivered global training initiatives to upskill leaders on Inclusive Leadership and Conscious Inclusion in Recruiting. Judy serves on the Diversity Board for AMS, where she supports DEI direction-setting for the overall business.
Prior to joining AMS, Judy’s career included leading two boutique DEI consulting firms, ThinkPeople and Integrity Development. Judy began her career at Procter & Gamble, where she worked in Corporate Communications and Finance.
Judy is as an Adjunct Instructor in Workforce Diversity at the University of Cincinnati’s Master’s in Applied Psychology Program. She has a B.S. in Management & Organizations from Indiana University's Kelly School of Business and a B.A. and M.A. in Theology from Life Christian University. She holds certificates in Diversity & Inclusion from Cornell University and Coaching with the International Coaching Federation; she is also a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory®.
Judy has been recognized for her impact on business, women, and the Black community. She was named a “Top Diversity Officer” by the National Diversity Council. Her business was named the State of Ohio’s “Minority-owned Business of the Year” by the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council, and Cincinnati’s “Minority-Owned Business of the Year” by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. She was also named a “Wish Woman of Achievement” by Make-A-Wish. Judy’s depth of experience causes her to be a sought-after speaker and media contributor. She’s been featured in Fortune, ATD Magazine, HR Daily, the HR Daily Podcast and DiversityQ on issues such as diversity, equity and inclusion, leadership, recruitment, organizational change, corporate culture, and employee engagement. She is a frequent speaker at SHRM’s (the Society for Human Resource Management’s) national conferences.
Judy currently serves as Vice President of Indiana University’s Neal-Marshall Alumni Club and on the Board of Trustees of Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. She is a Charter member of the Queen City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and a graduate of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s Leadership Cincinnati program. Her past service includes Make-A-Wish’s Indiana-Ohio-Kentucky Chapter, Cancer Family Care, The Northern Cincinnati Community Foundation, and the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati.
