Monica Bankston
Monica Bankston serves as Bumble Inc.’s Global Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEI&B), where she spearheads the development and implementation of the company's comprehensive DEI&B strategy, collaborates across teams to attract and retain diverse talent, and oversees the management of Employee Resource Groups. Working hand-in-hand with Bumble's executive leadership team, Monica works diligently to embed DEI&B principles throughout the global organization.
Monica has deep experience in driving effective DEI&B efforts, having held key leadership positions at renowned global companies, including Pure Storage, Coca-Cola North America, and Corning Incorporated. Monica's expertise extends to talent management, strategic partnerships, and executive development programs while at Walmart and Bank of America.
Monica received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Montreat College and a Master’s of Science in Organizational Change and Leadership from Pfeiffer University. She is a member of the Board of Trustees for The Rockwell Museum, a board member of the non-profit scholarship organization Cosmopolitan Women’s Club, and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She resides in Fort Mill, S.C., with her husband Deron and their two sons, Myles and Michael.
