Danita Rucks Oliver is an award-winning culture architect, thought leader, consultant, and speaker. She is currently the Global Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Blackhawk Network (BHN). As a DE&I practitioner, Danita draws from 30+ years of experience in technology, finance, telecom, and non-profits. Her extensive experience leading and developing teams provides her with deep insights into the challenges faced by leadership.
Danita believes diversity is more than gender or race. It is compromised of one's lived experiences, education, age, socio-economic status, and many other characteristics. She focuses on creating safe spaces, and through coaching, training, and program development, she equips others with the tools they need to succeed. She has paired with wellness teams to provide safe open spaces where employees from different backgrounds can safely talk, share, listen and learn with their peers and colleagues.
As a strategic partner, Danita is committed to driving positive change and more holistic innovation. She is standing up solid initiatives and programs that invest in people and she has a demonstrated passion for equipping people and teams for success and helping leaders foster a healthy company culture where no one's overlooked, all employees thrive, and none are left behind. Having grown up in the NY and NJ, Danita currently resides in Charleston, SC
